Traditional Shutters

These are the old small louvered shutters commonly installed 4 over 4. They're clearly a different look than plantation shutters. For those who want this, it's all they want. But they’re expensive: almost twice what plantations shutters cost.

 

The Shutter Shop stands behind our painted shutters for as long as you own the shutters, provided you don't have a moisture problem. However, we only offer a one-year warranty on stain shutters. Most people purchase window treatments because they have a sun/light issue. If the sun is bleaching out your floors and fabrics, shutters can provide one with privacy, visibility, and light control all at the same time. But our shutters are wood. The shutter industry is not smarter than the furniture or flooring industry. Just like flooring and fabrics, our stained shutters cannot withstand the heat and sunlight that Mother Nature delivers. If the competition says differently, you'll find out they're both liars and weasels when you have a problem.
